The history of creation of the Bottling Plant as well as its current activity are unusually interesting and definitely differ from the ones of other water bottling plants in Poland. Beginnings of the activity start in the year 1968, when the so-called "nowosadecki experiment" was carried out in the nowosadecczyzna region. The experiment was about utilising the natural resources of the land - mineral waters, ecologic agriculture, tourist and spa values - for improving the standard of living of the inhabitants. That is how the first natural mineral water "Piwniczanka" bottling plant was created. First bottles of "Piwniczanka" went off the bottling line in June 1968.

In 1990 the Work Association "Piwniczanka" was formed and the former employees became the owners of the Association. Thanks to this, the members of the association became at the same time the owners of land, production halls, producing wells, machines and appliances. Being the owners they cared for the quality of products and fast development of the company, just as a real proprietor cares for his/her property and everything that is connected with it. Despite organisation changes inside the association, profile of its activity remained unchanged - it is always the production of mineral water! During the last 38 years of its existence "Piwniczanka" has become one of the biggest GeoMineral bottling plants of this type, which bottles GeoMineral - natural mineral water.

Natural Geo-Mineral water "Piwniczanka" is a healthy, tasty and purely Polish product that was created because of the unique geologic system of the Piwniczna Zdrój spa. "Piwniczanka" is produced in a factory of domestic capital employing Polish workers. Its gained profits are invested in Poland and taxes are paid promptly into the national budget.

Uniqueness of the Bottling Plant and its product: natural GeoMineral water "Piwniczanka" is noticed by juries of every exhibition or fair, in which it takes place. However, the biggest and the most important distinction for "Piwniczanka" has for years constantly been the satisfaction of the consumers who drink more and more litres of this excellent water every year.
